Sometimes clubs on our network encounter a scenario where specific club members, who are known by the club, start uncharacteristically posting spam or inappropriate content on the clubs website.
If you are experiencing this then this may indicate that the user's email address has been hacked. If a hacker has managed to gain access to the user's email account, they then have the potential to gain access to any accounts associated with the email address.
We advise that the user changes the password to both their email and Pitchero accounts. If they need any assistance in resetting their Pitchero account's password they can call us on 0113 292 6070.
Webmasters or Team Admins of the club's website can remove inappropriate comments made on News Items, Photos and Videos, as well as posts on the Forum.
If the user's account sent any inappropriate messages, please let us know and we can look into this further.
If the problem persists the Primary Webmaster of the club can remove the member through the membership database section of the club control panel.
Alternatively, the user can change the email address of their Pitchero account to an address that they believe is not compromised.
